About Talking Dolphin
Overview
Talking Dolphin, LLC is a provider of software and services that support
advanced text processing applications. Talking Dolphin employs
emerging technologies from the fields of statistical natural language
processing and machine learning and adapts them for commercial
use.
Talking Dolphin software and services have been used by a number of
industry-leading companies both to enable new business strategies and

Talking Dolphin is a California Limited Liability Company that was
founded in 2004. It is based in San Francisco.
Management Team
Dan Klein
Dan Klein is a leading researcher in statistical natural language
processing at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is
an assistant professor. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from
Stanford University in 2004. Dr. Klein also holds degrees from Cornell
University and Oxford University, and is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Marshall Scholarship.

Teg Grenager
Teg Grenager is a Ph.D. candidate in the Computer Science
Department at Stanford University, researching statistical natural
language processing. He previously served many Fortune 100 companies
as a strategy consultant with the global management consulting firm
Arthur D. Little. Mr. Grenager holds a M.S. in Computer Science from
Stanford University, and a B.A. from Brown University.
